I’m still trying to get the hang of what blizzard wants me to do as a resto drood, haven’t had time to get to moonkin yet but . . . COOL! I can handle running around and goin’ BOOM!(kin) on everything I see. I heard good things about Balance from people playing on the PTR, but resto . . . will take getting used to.
And if you don’t like the changes, then just go wander over and take a gander at the Afrotree on MMO-Champs. Yes, afrotree. He’s yo brutha from anutha earthmutha. Wurd.

I’ve enjoyed boomkin since my days in kara. Once i made that switch, katt was never the same. Hated healz, did ok as feral, but shined as boom. Glad you are having fun.. have you played with the mushroom yet? or is that a lvl 85 spell/talent?
I was in Pokemon mode on my hunter the last few days. I collected enough pets to have one with each of the raid buffs, thanks to a mix of Petopia and WoW Insider’s article on the new buffs. Neither was 100% accurate, but between the 2 I think I got it covered.
When I’m bored later I’m going to have to start getting a pet from each family, just because I can. Spirit Beasts might have to wait; I imagine those are heavily camped right now.
I foresee a lot of pet leveling in my future.

As far as pets to tame for the new stable, I had a list, with pics, locations, and a time efficient route planned out! I tamed All the new pets I wanted the first night (except the ones I’ll have to wait for Cataclysm for).
One of my first tames was a grey worm, Hematite, because Petopia makes the green worm’s coloring look…unflattering. But the orange eyes were just too creepy, so I decided to give the green worm a chance. My green Serpentine is just beautiful, so I had to stop by here and tell you: you were right! /nod
I still have to spec out my boomkin, but my (ex-)tree is growing on me. I was doing things I could never have done before in Pit of Saron last night, and it’s generally OK. I’ll be happier when my cooldown addon is back up to speed – I’m used to refreshing Wild Growth almost every time it comes up, but it has a 4 second lag now that’s confounding me.
Still on the fence about my hunter. I mean, I like that I have a resource that matters, but it’s weird to actually run out of it. Still, gotta go pokemans up and get more pets.
OK, has BM always had this many buttons to push? Reason I ask is because I have been MM since they first gave us talents (ok, so I tried to level as BM on an alt hunter and only got to 20-25ish before I had to go back to MM, it just wasn’t for me). Anyway, I changed my secondary spec from MM to BM, yes, I did use to run with two MM specs. 🙂 Anyway, had go this route because you know, the whole bloodlust thing. Got my core hound, and decided since I’m part BM now, might as well go for the bluey eyed white kitty. A random popped while camping, I stay in BM, and the first several pulls I am like, “OMG what do I push next!” Then bam, mobs all dead and I only managed to send my pet and maybe fire serpent sting and an couple auto shots, lol. I suck at BM. I switched back to MM just so I could feel like I was helping the group. However, since I need to get the core hound to 80 and I can only do that while BM, I’m going to push through and run some randoms staying BM the whole time. Hopefully I can figure it out. I haven’t even got to the point where I am watching my pet’s frenzy stacks (I am supposed to be watching those right?).
Oh, and some fun info for Wash, I had to tame a Raptor for the bleed debuff. That and raptors are cool but I’ve never had room in our limited old stables. I couldn’t decide between the gray one and the blue one. So I went tamed a Gundrak Raptor which to my surprise changes skins when summoned between the blue skin and the gray skin. Now I’ve got the best of both worlds, and my Raptor is starting to creep into my favorite dps pet category.

One has been camping my resto shaman all morning on my pvp server. It doesn’t help that shaman are notoriously bad at defense in pvp situations either. This individual had so much fun at my expense that he was bold enough to follow me up in the air and fall to his own death just to get me one more time. I had the last laugh on that one though as he was only able to take away half my health before he crumpled into an owley mess in the snow.
. . . thinks it’s maybe time to go out to go out and buy a new game card . . .
