My first group was a pretty terrible PuG ten-man that was literally wiping on the ghost horse trash (I blame the Boomkin’s tragic addiction to AoE), and I just barely managed to get out in time– I was disconnected, logged in and found myself outside the building while the rest of the group was working on Attumen. Hastily I left the group before I was saved, and then about a half hour later went back in with four of my trusty pals and a T6 priest and we demolished the place.

…even if I died on Mirkblood. Don’t tell anyone.

Passed up on the axe and gave it to our tank instead. He deserved it. /nods

  1. Don’t feel bad. When I went, (full ten man), nearly the entire group wiped on the trash right before Mirkblood.
Then again, we did pull the entire second floor all at once. XD

Only me, the tank, and the paladin healer survived.

On Mirkblood himself, six people died anyways.

It was pretty damn funny, as nearly all of us were geared in a minimum of T5 stuff, and about half in T6 and up.

I later discovered that 7 members of the group were drunk.

  2. I though that it was a good idea on Blizzard’s part to make the pet available to all raid members and not subject to an open roll. That was especially important since the boss was only around for about a week and so multiple attempts weren’t possible.

I’m still waiting for the iconic seasonal item that a priest can wear. Scythe from Midsummer’s Fire Festival? Nopes. Helm from Hallow’s End? Nopes. Arcanite Ripper from recent Scourge events? Nopes! I mean, c’mon!

  3. Gratz that you were able to get this done with the random glitches you’d run into. This of any fight I’ve been a part requires a lot of movement and awareness of who is being mirrored.
